The Blue Feather Music Society is hosting our annual festival on November 4-6, 2016 at the Kwanlin Dün Cultural Centre. This year's theme is "Wonder World. To see the world through the eyes of a child, and to realize all of the creative possibilities in the world."
The society seeks donations for this year's event. The generous support from the peopel who have contributed to this annual event; the musicians, the artists, the businesses, the volunteers, the technical support, the Yukon First Nations and the audience have made it a success. The main objective of our society is to create opportunities for youth to discover their creative potential and to work together in striving for a future filled with hope.
The Blue Feather Music Society aims to inspire, encourage and support our young people to develop the gifts the Creator has given them. Through music and the visual arts, the Society creates opportunities for youth to explore and enhance their creative potential.
This event is about mentoring our youth in all areas of artistic production, performance and working in partnerships with others. Volunteering their time also helps to build a healthy and prosperous community. Youth are the next generation of leaders, healers, artists and keepers of the earth.
All sponsors of this event are acknowledged in the advertising of this event through the posters, during the event itself and the appreciation ad in the local newspapers and on radio and social media platforms. The Blue Feather Music Society will also acknowledge their support by posting their logo on our website.
